Being an avid Beatles fan growing up, if it wasn’t for their highly recognisable branding, I would have drove straight past St Peppers Vintage and Vinyl Collective and missed the goodness inside. When walking into their tiny shop front I was greeted by the co-owner Heather, along with a treasure trove of vintage pieces and a fairly decent vinyl collection. Although their stock turns around quite quickly, there are always many rare items to be found at decent prices. So if you’re after some legitimate secondhand/vintage pieces, why not checkout their Northbridge shop front this week? Also, if you’re up in the Northern Suburbs, they currently have a pop-up shop open at Westfield Whitford City Shopping Centre. ST. Joel and I came across this neat little spot around the corner from us a few weeks back when looking for coffee, though we went back this morning to try out their breakfast menu, and I thought I’d share. Located on pleasant little Hobart street, where you don’t have to fret if you’ll get hit by a car when crossing the road, is Hobart Deli. Being only short bike ride from our house, it will be hard not to keep going back every Saturday morning. Firstly, I’d like to mention that I love a cafe that dresses their shop well, and this one did not disappoint as we were greeted by a lovely wall of genius by one of Perth’s local talents; Creepy. The inside was full of lovely things to look at too, and they seemed to have gotten into the Christmas spirit – Which I loved! There were plenty quirky…

A few weeks back I went on a little date with one of my favourite girls Emily to Hay Street’s Jean Pierre Sancho patisserie for a bite  to eat. I’ve only been here a handful of times, but I always leave satisfied. All of their food is made from scratch, fresh, every day in their Hay Street kitchen by their French Chefs who all have fine dining experience. For some seriously tasty pastries or just a yummy baguette head over there and check it out for yourself. This little slice of the city has a long standing reputation of being the place to hang in Perth’s CBD. That’s right this week we’re sharing an old fav; Tiger, Tiger! A quaint coffee bar located down an alley linned with potted greenery, in amongst the goodness of King Street and what we think has been the face of Wolf Lane for quite some time. It seems this is where all the hidden Perth poets hang, and has a pretty cool art-house vibe to it. Wednesdays are a certainly a day to pay them a visit if you want to try their Single Origin flavours from different coffee regions; though really any cup from this place is a guaranteed winner. Whether it’s sharing with pals or demolishing something on your own, their Spanish and North African influenced menus also isn’t something to look past. Tiger Tiger have certainly embraced the…

There aren’t many stores around Perth that are purely dedicated to being a one-stop-destination for Men’s wear. But if you were to take a short stroll down William Street in Northbridge you would find The Fox Hunt, an initiative by our friends over at Pigeonhole. Yes, this little hunting lodge-inspired shop front puts a modern spin on that old-school gentleman style we know and love! In amongst a large array of men’s accessories and fun gadgets, lie apparel by some of our favourites; Dr Demin, Velour, Fred Perry & Ksubi. And one of the best bits about The Fox Hunt (& Pigeonhole in general) is that if you’re stuck on gift ideas for your brother, father or special someone you will never walk out of this place disappointed. Take a look at some of the shots from a recent visit, but next time your in town why not drop by and…
